About OndeFui

The idea for this project was born from the wish to offer a starting point for those who travel and want to see their own journey around the world.

Some people want to visit every country. Some have their favorite places and want to mark each achievement. And some share my goal: to trace a line across Brazil, one place at a time.

Travel can start on foot, with a backpack, hitchhiking or in life’s wild turns. What changes from one journey to another are the places, the people, the how and the when.

I also believe we can and should revisit places: in other times, on other occasions, in other moments of who we are. The destination may be the same, but every experience is different.

OndeFui was born to be a wall of memories. For some, of achievements. For others, a way to look at what has been and notice what is still ahead.

Because “where I went” can also be read as “what is left”.

We don’t know what the next step will be, but we know it will follow from the one before.

That is what I think. And that is the idea that gave rise to OndeFui.
